A grilled pork belly with sour salad (it was really savor and the salad dressing that was made that was sour really complimented the richness of the pork).
Cocktail: ARTFUL TEMPTRESS
EG origin vodka, strawberry, hibiscus water, lemon, dry sparkling wine
We had to stop in at our favorite local spot for brunch. We started with an amuse bouche, which was a pork belly sour salad, and moved on to brunch wntrees.
Counter Culture is an excellent place for gluten-free dining, especially brunch and brunch/lunch during the week. They are still serving up many GF options as well as gluten-free buns and hocakes, which I had today.
I couldn't complain with the blue skies, water views on Bayshore and whatnot. It was a perfect day!
House cured salmon scramble: watercress, sweet onion, fines herbes, lemon zest, creme fraiche, toasted everything bagel.
*Mine was made exactly the same, but with a corn hocake.
Brioche French toast: cream cheese stuffed french toast, guava syrup. This is not gluten free
Kurobuta pork breakfast sausage.
Organic egg sandwich: soft scrambled organic eggs, white cheddar, crispy pork belly, hydro watercress, GF bun with handcut potatoes.
*Everything here was made gluten free by request.
