We came in for happy hour before and twice now for brunch. The hotel is very beautiful, I love the chic decor. It's modern chic and classy with a mix of coastal touch to it decor wise. This hotel is located in Hyde Park Village right next to the Kendra Scott store. There is a valet available as well as Park Mobile Street parking and multiple free garages.
Parking was farely easy since it was mid week. The lobby bar is located just up a short set of stairs on the second floor and also with a concierge. The hotel lobby bar has a small menu, but the items are offered all day, and they also have breakfast and lunch items. Tonight, we specifically came in for the happy hour cocktails. It took a while for anyone to come to our table, which is first come, first serve. The lobby bar has a full bar as well as 4 large seating areas with a table and a larger table to seat large parties.
We finally got to have brunch here, and it was quite nice. it was nice and quiet, and we were greeted immediately. The breakfast isn't super fancy, but I liked the omlette and hashbrowns, which were pan-fried. The lobster tacos were delicious and were exactly as expected.
The brunch is a really great deal, so I would definitely come back. You can also order burgers and other items. The mimosas here are good and included in the brunch price along with the croissant and coffee.
Service was very slow. It wasn't busy, but I believe there was only 1 person handling the bar and kitchen orders. I ordered the cobb salad, and it never arrived. He actually didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The salad was very, very good. It tasted fresh and inviting. The light vinegarette on it was absolutely delicious. It was a decent size salad. I would return just for that, actually. I highly recommend brunch or lunch here.
