Sōl Bistro; The All Gluten-Free Restaurant | Outfit Replay Wilde About Orange

Hi loves! I hope you are all having a great weekend. It feels good to get out and enjoy the holiday vibes as we now have been done with Halloween for almost two weeks and it seems like everyone is just fast tracking it to. Christmas vibes.

I would love to put my tree up the last week of October, but I rarely do. When do you all put your trees up if you celebrate Christmas?

So, today I am wearing a dress that I purchased prior to the pandemic & blogged during the lockdown. I did photograph it back then, but I never got to wear it anywhere. I wanted to give this dress another wear to see how it vibes with my style now.

My favorite thing about this dress is the color blocking and that's about it. It's on the whole, too large on me and a very simple dress. This is one of the reasons I stopped shopping at Red Dress, which is where this came from) because their clothing always fits strongly

They do practice vanity sizing and I guess it depends on the manufacturer of a lot of their clothes because most of them are "bump friendly" which they heavily advertise. This leads to clothes being way larger and disproportionate if you aren't pregnant. Then a lot of the clothes are almost like European sized which means they run extremely small.

So, this dress is cute, but I am most likely going to retire it due to it being too big and the fabric is just not my favorite. The colors are everything though.

Tonight we dined at what was one of my favorite restaurants in St.Pete. This small quaint restaurant specializes in gluten-free and anti-inflammatory foods. They used to have a larger menu, but it appears it has been condensed and the prices have also increased. My favorite dish of all time has been removed from the menu which is crushing for me as a Celiac. They make a really great grass fed steak, but as someone that doesn't eat a lot of red meat it is not something I would go there for all the time.

For some reason I got sick after eating here like a gluten reaction and I have no idea why because everything is supposed to be gluten-free.  However, I recalled them specifically saying my food was gluten free as if there was an option for it not to be. I am not sure, but a lot has changed unfortunately. One thing that I just did not like is that if you have a reservation even if there is some type of emergency or in-climate  weather you will be charged like a 40 or 50$ fee and we'll, I tried to change the reservation, but I think it says on their website they don't really answer the phone. It's all kind of a headache.

I found the dinner to be the same as it always was, but the vibe was different unfortunately for us both this time and the last time we dined in for my birthday.

I hope they bring some of the older menu items back though!

And another change they have made is that they used to be beer and wine only as well as 0 proof elixirs. Now, they do serve alcohol  as well as the beer and wines and elixirs.

Gluten-free  bruschetta

House salad
If you order the prefixe dinner option (which I did) you get everything shown for one price and you can choose what you want as well. If you opt to just order an entree like my husband did then you can add the house salad for five dolars.

Grass fed steak
This and the tuna are in my opinion, the best two items on the menu.
