South Tampa Metro Nights Menu Tasting (Hosted).... T-Shirt + Jean Skirt + Sandals

Tonight we were invited out for a new menu tasting at the Metro Diner. They have several locations all over the country and if you are in one of the states they are located in you will know this place is awesome. Its affordable, they serve breakfast & dinner; Some locations serve lunch. I love this place because they have a very clear gluten free menu with a lot of options! The food is always prepared correctly and I have never had any issues.

So, tonight was an unexpected rainy night so I had one look planned and decided to opt for something more laid back.  You can't really go wrong with a t-shirt and denim look and if it gets wet from the rain it will dry quickly!

Our servings:

We dined at this location for dinner and tasted their new menu items. They now have red and white sangria and Bloody Mary's for dinner options. A lot of their dinner items have been updated or new modified recipes. I love Metro Diner because they have a very clear gluten free menu. The staff is knowledgable and trained well on food allergies and cross contamination. I have never had any issues with my food and this is my second location to visit. I had the grilled salmon, the choice steak, the seaside salad (without the quinoa), and the pot roast. Everything I had was great, the grilled salmon and steak were my favorites. They all are gluten free. My husband loved everything, but the meatloaf really stood out to him. He said it was well seasoned and savory. The mashed potatoes are very very creamy and they tasted great with every dish we had. I am glad they switched to the fresh veggies; they were nice and crisp and obviously tasted fresh. I can't wait to return for brunch and breakfast and try more food. As always the staff was so friendly and attentive. the white sangria was my favorite. The location also has a cute outdoor seating area. this location is newly renovated (the plaza) its very very nice. Parking is right in front and you can also access the building from North A street if you want to avoid traffic!! This place is great for cheap eats.
