Tonights curated dinner!

Taj X is a pop-up Indian dining experience
featured on Celebrity Cruises, including ships like the Celebrity Equinox and Constellation, rather than a specific individual chef, It offers a curated multi-course Indian menu.

Experience: Taj X offers authentic, high-end Indian flavors and is described as a splurge"" or special event, sometimes not listed on the main app but found in daily ship newspapers.

I do want to be clear this was a special situation where this Taj X experience was offered free to my husband and I most likely because I am a food critic (foodiva) in my everyday life. I advised them I was just there on vacation and not being paid or up to anything other than vacationing. Despite that they insisted on me trying the experience. Normally, I do believe it is upwards of 100$ and the food is served family styled.

The items we got are also curated for me to be able to taste all of them because I am gluten-free. As you can see it's small plates, more like tapas style since they wanted me to try it.

What I can say is...I love Indian food down. Indian Cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines and one cruises we usually eat Indian Cuisine everyday.

How this experience measures up:

I loved it and my husband loved it. We both have been eating Indian Cuisine for over a decade and we eat it so much so that I cook it at home regularly.  This had everything I needed, it maybe needed a little more salt, but a lot of the food on cruises is undersalted so you can add it to your taste.

I would pay for this experience and from what I have seen, you do get a bit more food if you do the regular experience. At the time, I didn't know it was even supposed to be a fee for it so it's much appreciated. I must also say...if you book a certain tier of room you get to eat on the other side of the dining lounge. It's very nice and I preferred it over there a lot. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful.

Shout out to Sal and Rakuten.
