"My Must Try Restaurants TPA" Food Tour 2024-2025: Rakki Seminole Heights w/ Offline Tampa Bay + Look of the Day (Re-styling)

Happy Tuesday loves! This is the first in many posts of my Tampa food tour. I have been working on this food tour for over a year! I am featuring a lot of new restaurants mainly this time around in the Tampa Bay area.

Todays look is mostly vintage. I am a huge believe in repeating Clothes!

Don't be fooled by my wardrobe, I try to keep and reuse and upcycle aw much as possible which includes a lot of items I purchased over 12 years ago when I first started blogging as a Streetstyle fashion blogger as well as from years before because I have always been a fashion lover.

I am keeping it cute and simple though because today we are going to Seminole Heights to a little restaurant that just opened named Rakki.

Now, you will find below ramen styled d ishes. I just want to advise although I visited only about 2 months ago, they changed the menu about two weeks later and now I don't see any of these ramen styled dishes anymore, but now a focus on Asian styled burgers.

Hopefully, they bring the noodles back soon!

This look is a mix of vintage and modern fashion. The 90's and 2000's style is back and has been for a while so this was an easy style for me since ai grew up in that time. In particular I am bringing attention to this cute little cap sleeve top. It's 100% cotton and very comfortable, but it gives a direct nod to the same style of top that was so popular around the time of "Charmed" "Popular" and "Felicity". Yep, I was that girl, but I had a major obsession with (you will never guess), J.Crew, but I had a "Rave" budget 😌😂.

So, today I am bringing it back around full circle with this remixed look.

Shirt: J.Crew

Shorts: Daily Look, vintage

Tiffany's Lovestruck Pendant: here

Heels: Vintage

Bangles/cuffs/jewelry: Kendra Scott

Lipstick: MAC Ruby Woo

2 three months ago the focus was geared more towards rice and noodles, ie; noodles with wheat flour or rice flour.

I wasn't sure if they even accommodated Celiacs so I called the restaurant and they said yes, they would substitute basically any ramen noodles with rice noodles.

As a Celiac, most places do not even bother to make a ramen styled broth that is gluten-free much less let you have rice noodles, this is why I eat Pho so much. Many of you may not know I wasn't always a food blogger, but ai have always been a foodie and before all this obsession started with Ramen and Pho, I was eating Ramen and then Pho everywhere. Like, my husband and I would take whole vacations and only eat Ramen every single day (in Orlando). So, I miss it a lot!

So, we decided to sit at the counter because I love to watch the Chef cook, but I can also see how my food is made to assure no cross contamination is happening.

They have beer, wine and sake. This was a sake and wine styled cocktail.

This was another.

So, they had a few hand rolls. I was so scared to eat this because I was unsure it was gluten-free,  but assured it was. WOW WOW WOW.

This was definitely the best spicy crab handroll I have a ever had.

As usual, my husband has no dietary restrictions so he does order items with gluten and you will see them featured on my posts, I usually try to seperate his items from mine so it is not confusing.

Hubs had a Ramen that was a fusion of style and preparation, but it was Mexican styled. ahead loved it, apparently at the time this was the most popular Ramen.
