Michelin Starred Thanksgiving Dinner * Lilac at the Tampa Edition | Sexified Thanksgiving 2pc set in Crisp Autumn Orange + Jimmy Choo

Happy Thanksgiving loves! I hope you all enjoyed your day!

Today's Thanksgiving OOTD is one that I rather enjoyed. It was loose and flowy and flattering, it features pleats and a really nice burnt/Mandarin orange color which reminds me of Fall.

2 pc. set: Comense

Heels: Jimmy Choo Love 85, not recent

Bangles: Kendra Scott

Lipstick: MAC Holiday release (2023) in "Hug Me"

Tonight we dined at the two Michelin Starred restaurant which I have been to before) Lilac at the Tampa Edition.

The Tampa Edition is Tampa's only 5 star hotel and also holds a Michelin Key as well as a Michelin star for Lilac in 2023 and 2024.

As you know it is just my husband and I at home so unless I am hosting dinner we just go out to eat on Thanksgiving. It's usually cheaper and I don't like having the leftovers hanging around.

Tonight, Lilac had most of their usual menu, but they added some additional items for Thanksgiving.

Lilac has a pre-fix menu at a set price per person. Bread service to start, and appetizer,  the main course and then dessert to follow.

They do a fantastic job at food allergies. I have been here several times and have never had an issue with gluten cross contamination.

I have separated my experience from my husband's as mine has been modified to be gluten free.

The bread service is always modified as well although I hear the milk bread is really the end all be all.

Appetizer
Tuna

Main course
Turkey dinner
this came with all of the normal sides including macerated cranberry sauce.

Everything was gluten free except the gravy which ai did not even miss.

The turkey dinner was great. It was everything I always wanted to be served to me, but a lot of times when I go out I don't get the dressing or gravy or certain things because they did not make them gluten-free.

You may also ask, why is it everything I always wanted? Well, as a Black American my traditional Thanksgiving dinner never had some items that other people usually ate (not many), but you know I always just kind of want to experience just that (and not have to cook it).

I eat my cooking every single day.
Today was a treat (especially given the price) and a day off that I very much needed. And yes, I definitely missed my usual Black American holiday dinner, but Chriatmas is basically the same meal and I have New Years Eve also (all of these are big cooking days).

This was my dessert.
This was an off menu Piña colad type dessert which is not incredibly sweet and comes with a sorbet (which ai love). If I wasn't told it was gluten-free I really wouldn't have known.

I always feel bad at the dinal course of dessert because I get full fast, but I also just don't eat a lot of sweets.

I think I finished half and brought the other half home hoping it will be eaten lol.

This is the start of my husband's food experience starting with bread service. I didn't take photos of all the breads (it's a lot), but this Japanese milk bread is pretty much everyone's favorite and they added caramelized onions to the top this time.

Appetizer
This was a mix of beans, greens, pork belly and octopus.

I actually didn't like my tuna and they brought this out for me as well and it was absolutely delicious.
