Stay Winter Park | Food Tour - Chic Eats Winter Park & More 2024 | 2 Pc. Set | The Drake Winter Park

This was our final day in Winter Park. I decided on this chic two piece set. I recall a woman approaching me and complimenting my putfit and asking where could she buy it for her daughter because she has never seen anything like what I wear around here. That would have been a perfect time to tell her about my website, but I was a little out of it (I am not a morning person and was groggy). I do get this compliment a lot which makes me feel good knowing that I am not presenting and sharing to the world the same cliché looks and fashions that have inundated our lives via social media feeds and reality t.v. series.

I put a lot if work into styling and curating a look sometimes for months before I even show it on my blog. I love just doing vacation posts because I am more relaxed and the vibe is way different.

Isn't this atrium just a whole mood? Ugh, it's so pretty in here, I was just so glad it was not raining today so I could get a photo.

I will have more info on this hotel during my vacation recap and camera roll*

So, the Chic Eats Winter Park and More Food Tour 2024 is being posted in 2 parts due to my blog schedule. This is my last stop in Part 1. Part 2. Will hopefully be posted before the end of the year.

I keep hearing about The Drake and I never have time to go. I hear their brunch is amazing, but dinner in my opinion looks fire. Well, I had time for brunch so we came in around noon and it wasn't even busy. It is a cute restaurant and in a nice area (The Mills50 District).

Chic Eats Winter Park & More 2024
1. NATSU

2. Bosphorus Turkish cuisine (lunch)

3.Chayote Barrio Kitchen (dinner)

4. The Drake (brunch)

5. Alfond Inn: Hamilton's Kitchen

to be continued!

I didnt have a lot of gluten free iptions for brunch. The Brunch menu was pretty small and curated. It was curated for foodies and mayyybbbey those who may have beeing out partiying late into the morning and might need a heavy meal to fet the day going like...chicken and waffles per se...

I think my husband is a French Toast addict...in fact, I know he is. He can never say no to it! I am not the type to eat sugary sweet things for breakfast so I don't know how he does it, but I don't complain because it makes for good eye candy.

So, I am in struggle mode this morning and I had the option of getting this fritattata with prushutto which, sounded good on paper, but was a little strange on the plate.

It wasn't what I was expecting and the fritatta was a little (lot) burnt (blackened?) on the top. The meat was fried? Everything was throwing me off about this meal and the plating, but it tasted good once you got into the fritatta and past the um, "blackening".

I would still return for dinner and I'd recommend coming to The Drake. Brunch was pretty quick so by 1pm we were out of there and by then the whole restaurant was packed so if you go for brunch, go early or make a reservation!
