Summertime Fun: Paris Basement Pop-up | Outfit Re-play

Dress: Not recent

Heels: Jimmy Choo, not recent

Lipstick: MAC, Retro Matte Liquid lipstick in "Dance with Me"

Paris Basement is a summer residency pop-up transforming Bouzy’s Cellar into an intimate, moody cave bar inspired by the underground drinking dens of Paris’s 11th arrondissement.

They feature a limited cocktail menu which was built around "spirit-forward classics" and original creations. This also includes an exclusive food menu as well.

Lastly, a curated soundtrack from live DJs, the experience (we really loved the music and I am featuring one of the songs in this video) is designed to feel like stumbling into somewhere you weren’t supposed to find-hidden, energetic, and available only for a short time.

Tonight also featured a complimentary caviar bump as well as a glass of champagne. I am not sure if this was just for night one or if it will be done every night. Also, at least on this night, the pop up started at 10pm and you do need a reservation. I am not sure if it will be at the same time every night and if it will be weekends only. They in general kept everyone in the cellar separate  from the main entrance ro keep up like a sexy and chic vibe all of us entered via the cellar entrance.

I have not been to Paris, but I could feel the vibes they were going for. Its fun for Summer as well. Surprisingly, Hyde Park Village was pretty vacant for a Saturday and it wasn't even raining so I am guessing its just the economy.

While the drinks are on the pricy side (one drink starting at 39$ and if you add champagne its an additional 15$ the food was very fairly priced. I really wanted to try that Philly, but ah well, that's just the life of a Celiac. Hubs liked his smash burger though.

I liked the DJ and his music he played. Vibes were nice it's very dimly lit and heads up to me at least, it seemed like the lights were flickering to some of the music. The special menu was not gluten friendly (like no adjustments for the burger or Philly). The regular menu is still available to order from though. The pop up menu also has featured drinks.

My drink was really cute and made with Pisco and it had an edible sugar ring at the top.
