I look back on my 2024, and I am sure I wouldn't wish that on anyone. BUT, I went on this trip because I couldn't cancel it without losing everything we paid. The water is so rough to South America (which I knew) and let me tell you...when I saw the shore I was freaking happy. I was like man, finally in Columbia after all these years of wishing and waiting!

I don't think a lot of my photos will be what you may expect of this trip because I was sea sick. I had never experienced a sailing like this. Just everything was making me sick because rhe water is so choppy there and I think, I had just given everything I had to give this year and by the time this trip came up, I was done with travel, and I couldn't get out of it.

This is now the longest cruise we have ever done. I don't wish to do this again, but honestly, I can never say never in this case because I do like to cruise. I have not been much for flying, but I am trying.

I wanted to be here no matter how my year went.

I was excited.

But definitely sick. A lot of time I will smile in my photos and I have a lot of autoimmune issues and diseases. It isn't as it looks. And unfortunately, people in my life use my blog and social media against me and say "well you look happy here...you look fine...your smiling". As an adult I think we can all agree qe knew people who looked fine and were smiling. Everyone has their own battles and the only thing I ask is that we be kind and understanding, but that is never extended to me in these cases.

Ok, so back to this moment.

It was like nothing else.
