Sweater dress: Abercrombie and Fitch
I have been wanting to come here since the restaurant opened this year or maybe it was late last year. But the menu did not have many gluten-free options. They have a small menu and I basically have been waiting for a menu change that I was interested in which is what brought me in today.
So, my dinner date at Ash Tampa was everything I expected, but a little bit more. I really appreciated the complexity of the flavors and textures used in the dishes that we had, but especially these two entrees that stood out a lot to us.
For me, I wasn't expecting shrimp scampi to be like this, I was expecting the usual shrimp scampi with butter, garlic, lemon etc. To me this was tasting more like a shrimp masala which was different, in a good way. I heard this fish was amazing from my husband. It can be made gluten-free without the fried elements.
If I had thought about it, we would have requested that one to be made GF as well so I could have tasted it. My entree, the scampi, was also made GF by omitting the pasta.
