Ready Set Glow! Winter OOTD (Introducing Abercrombie & Fitch) | Holiday Promenade at Water Street + Night Market | Anniversary Dinner at Bar Terroir

Hi loves! Happy Holidays! I have been waiting for it to get cold here in Tampa just so I could wear this cute sweater dress. My announcement is that I actually became a brand ambassador for Abercrombie & Fitch in September, but I have been waiting all this time to make my first outfit of the day post because I had to process a return on my first order due to sizing.

So I have just a bit of quick info. I only partner with companies I am proud to be a part of and in the past, A&F has been marred in controversy. I am a millenial and I grew up in those days where you would go into the store and it's so dimly lit, heavy of cologne and I couldn't afford a thing in there.

Well, I just wanted to touch on that because Abercrombie & Fitch has gone through a major rebranding and even has a new CEO who is launching the re-brand. The old CEO is no longer there and this whole re-brand started about two years ago. I have been following thus in particular for a while because I wanted to see if they were being authentic and I believe that they are.

A&F is a brand for all people, all shapes and sizes. They use all types of models in their advertising and the brand ambassadors I see working with them are people just like me. So, I just wanted to say all of that because no, yall have never seen me wear anything from Abercrombie, but you have seen me wear clothes from Hollister and American Eagle. I was and still have a very preppy and feminine aesthtic.

What I can say is so far I have 4 dresses from A&F and I love that they are using natural fabrics (I am unsure about this dress though). This dress comes in some other colors. It's soft and it's comfortable. afor reference I am 5'3 and this is an XS.

So, on this night we went to the Holiday Prominade at Water Street. This is basically a night market with live music and little photo areas set up.You may have seen my post last month at the Sunday Market which is from 10am to 3pm.

The holiday market was really fun, but way more crowded. While many of us live here in the city a lot of people come from the burbs to enjoy these markets and have fun date nights and family nights so it can lead to it being extra crowded especially if like during the day, a cruise ship or multiple ships are in port.

And if there is a Lightning game playing then triple the crowd and the parking becomes a nightmare. Luckily, tonight none of those were factors except the crowd and so it was fun.

This is in fact my Christmas gift. I got it early, but i may address this in the December City Life Vlogs.

Dinner at Bar Terroir is always fun for us as foodies. I like to go every quarter when there are menu changes (but I don't always get to post them in that same quarter). They just changed their menu up and we tried some Winter items which from what I was told will be available for the next three or four months.

These oysters have been on the menu for a while they just change the mignonette. The mignonette is supposed to be a Bloody Mary mignonette, however I think it may have had gluten in it so I was given a red wine vinegar and shallot mignonette which was still delicious. The oysters are pricy here at about four dollars a piece, but they are large and meaty and a really great quality. You actually do not even need a mignonette to enjoy them.

This is the chophouse salad and it's been on the menu since late Summer. It's enough salad for 2 to 3 people. It's very herb-y and fresh tasting. The Green Goddess dressing is not like any I have had other than when I made mine fresh, that's how this tasted because those fresh herbs really stand out.

This is a Winter menu items. It's a warm salad. My husband really liked it. So, my salad was very icy and herb-y and his was warm and inviting.

Coktail: Chai Thai.

It was reminiscent of the Mai Thai, but I liked this version a lot more.

New menu items.

The Duck Confeit with a jous and side salad. This was fantastic. It was all gluten-free including the jous. The duck just fell off the bone and it had the perfect sear on the outside. That little salad on the side had an apple cider vinegarette type dressing and it really made the Savory duck and jous stand out more.

New menu items (all of these are new and gluten-free).

This is more of a deconstructed banana creme brulêe with plantains on the side. It was absolutely delicious.
