The Crane

Downtown St.Petersburg (DTSP)

The Crane is a Steakhouse that opened just a few weeks ago in Downtown St.Pete. They have a really interesting and eclectic menu. As someone who is a Flexitarian I tend to not eat a lot of meat, I eat mostly seafood or vegetarian. The one thing that stood out to me about their menu is that you can order items fromnthe grill at 3 ounces each (this even includes wagyu). That is perfect for me because I like to try a lot of different things. I will warn you that does add up though! You also have the option to order full meals which is what my husband did.

We started out with some starters or appetizers. This was listed as a Ceviche, but in my opinion this is not a Ceviche it is more of a Tuna stack or Tuna Tartare. It had a lot of different textures (didn't like that) such as Tobiko, mango and avacado. It came off more crunchy and soft than anything. Aside from the textures it was a good dish, I just wouldn't call it a Ceviche or a Crudo.
