It's his birthday and I wanted to take him somewhere special so tonight we are dining at Restaurant Bt. Restaurant Bt specializes in Vietnamese Cuisine which is light, subtle and elegant. Its simple yet sophisticated style is characterized by organic, fresh, clean tastes; by the delicate blending and extracting of spicy and sweet flavors and its seductive exotic aromas. We come here often and love the atmosphere as well as Chef BT.
✨️TUNA TÁI CHANH
We started dinner with Vietnamese Coffee and a Sake cocktail followed by an amuse bouche. Today we are having the special whixh is Dungeness crab Tom Yum Soup, it was so delicious with popping lime mixed in with the subtle seafood of the crab and myotaki mushrooms. Next, followed our entrees and for me, I love seafood so I had the raw tuna and my husband, chateaubriand. We finished out the night in the newly renovated area for lounging and it was so intimate and chic.
Bluefin Toro/Akami tartare, fresh ginger, chili, garlic, herbs, roasted shallots, fresh heart of palm, passion fruit and yuzu pearls.
✨️CHÂTEAUBRIAND ROYALE
Locally raised, grass-fed Châteaubriand steak dry rubbed with paprika, chipotle, rosemary, and cumin; finished with a Courvoisier Cognac and fig reduction; served with Maitake mushrooms, truffled batata, and grilled vegetables.
