New Years Aircation Winter Park: Norigami Orlando, Michelin Recommended Restauraunt | Nigiri Omakase | Plant Street Market | LOTD Classic in Khaki + Louis Vuitton

Today in Classic in Khaki. You can never go wrong with khaki and in this case a khaki dress is tea. Although it is Winter, today is was about 82 degrees and it felt great outside so we went for a walk in the park.

How would you style your khaki? I am still in love with the re-edition of the classic denim so I went with a combination of new and old.

Today's lunch is at Norigami, a restaurant that I have been wanting to visit for a while. It has been on my food tour lists over and over, but I didn't have a chance to make it out this way. To my surprise even though it's Winter Garden, I haven't been in this area before. So, this is plant Street Market and it's a smaller scale food hall. There, you will find two Michelin starred Norigami.

There is a set menu that you can choose from a la cart or if you are like me, you can do the nigiri omakase which is at an amazing price point.

I informed Chef David Tsan I had Celiacs and it wasn't a problem or even a big deal thankfully. So, I sat back and relaxed while Chef David prepared 10 courses of nigiri, one handroll and miso soup to finish.

I want to be clear there is always an element of cross contamination anywhere you eat if you have items containing gluten.

While my food was prepared alongside other guests I did not get glutened (YAY!!!). So, my experience was a 5/5.

This was one of the best omakases I have ever partaken in. The flavors of the dish combined with the added garnishes were top tier; Like an explosion of flavor in my mouth.

Each piece of that was presented was perfectly small and compact. And the best part is that I easily skipped soy sauce and indulged in the light sprinkling of  matcha salt that topped each nigiri course.

I haven't stopped thinking about this omakase since I had it.

AND IT WAS UNDER 70$
This is why I would highly recommend Norigami at Plant Street Market. It very much is aa high end experience and caliber of food and execution in a casual setting.
