Let's Visit Wesley Chapel's New Carrabba's Italian Grill (Hosted) + OOTD Replay Zara top + skirt + Burberry Boots

I only took one photo in this outfit because there really wasn't anywhere to take a photo and even at the bar people were kind of like looking at me funny lol. I really did not like this outfit anyway, but I am sure it looked nice.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill, known for crafting authentic cuisine served in an atmosphere meant for celebration, has introduced a completely original look and feel at its new location in Wesley Chapel. The design creates a sophisticated but relaxed setting that blends Italian heritage with modern style. It also maximizes efficiency and guest comfort with a reimagined takeout space. But above all, the new location continues the Carrabba’s tradition of serving “Classic Italian with Heart and Soul” – an idea so integral, it’s inscribed on the wall.

We had a chance to dine at Carrabba's in Lutz/Wesley Chaple to try their new Fall menu. This location only had 1 item from the Fall menu which was the Blood Orange Margarita which was very good.

This is the only seasonal item this location had which is the Blood Orange Margarita made with Mezcal.

What Carabba's does right is their proteins which are made exactly the same every single time that I witnessed while dining put. The pork chops, the chicken, and the stuffed chick3n we had were all cooked to a perfect temperature and the knife cut through them like butter.

What Carrabba's doesn't get right is their sides. Some may think it is a good vale to get a salad, a soup, and a side with their meal for no added charge, but when they aren't made well it isn't a good deal. The Italian House Salad was strange. The Spring Mix for a Italian Chopped salad, the large carrots, and the way it was arranged was not really what I am used to when it comes to Italian Chooped Salad. It was also low on tomatoes and Kalmata olives. The peperrcini was the best thing in it and it wasn't much maybe 2 slices. This was a hard pass which isn't saying much because it is included with the meal.

The lentil soup was good, but not great. It wasn't seasoned at all or maybe it was not a new batch? It was also very salty. The lentil soup with sausage has a lot of promise, but it tasted like it came from a can which was disappointing. I love lentils and I love sausage and I know this could have been so much better like the salad.

The sides that came with the meal:

My husband says his asparagus was perfect and he ordered it as a side on multiple dishes.

My mashed potatoes however, had little flavor or texture despite having potato skins in it and I actually told them that and asked for a different side of steamed broccoli and they replaced it. To my chagrin I was charged additionally 4.99 for steamed broccoli that was supposed to replace the mashed potatoes; which was limp and also bland.

What is right: The Chicken Bryan dish has been on their menu for over 20 years and I can say this because I had it in Brandon over 20 years ago. It tastes exactly the same. The get this dish right every time and I don't even like goat cheese that much, but I like theirs. I know my mother has a lot of concerns about eating in restaurants because of her health issues now that she is older and my parents always used to go to Carrabba's.

-Everything below is gluten free, there are some additional posts that will be shown on this month's City Life VLOG.

Tuscan Grilled Pork Chop
Gluten Free

I was really happy to tell my mom not only do they have gluten free dishes, but they have Vegan dishes as well and a lot of their menu is not pasta based or fried. There is a pasta section and they do offer gluten free pasta for those dishes though.

Most of the appetizers were not gluten free and some fried so I didn't have any, but overall, their ability to provide a calorie count for their food and provide a protien and a vegetable (which is how I eat) was impressive.

No desserts were gluten free other than ice cream scoops, for me that wasn't a big deal because I am not big on sweets. My experience with the food was good because I would have thought I couldn't have eaten there because I have Celiacs and a lot of chain restaurants either fully commit to serving everyone and their allergens and dietary restrictions or some do not point blank period. Carrabba's did way more than a lot of places that are chain restaurants are willing to do and I am not trying to throw shade on any particular restaurant because I frequent many that do, but I just know of a few that will not even list a gluten free option.

Chicken Bryan

I do wish I could have reviewed the Fall menu, but I guess it isn't nationwide and the regular menu is so you guys if you haven't tried it, go to Carrabba's and ask for Chicken Bryan with asparagus if you don't mind goat cheese. The pork chops were also perfection per hubs.
