City Life: A Birthday Trip For the Family Cocoa Cay, Bahamas

Hi loves! So this trip has been in the works for a long time! It was a dream for my husband and I to take my parents on their first cruise because they have been so awesome since the day we got married. This was a celebration of all types. It was my birthday (the 27th), my mom's birthday (the 28th), and my husband's way of really celebrating graduating and really kicking butt at his job. My dad was celebrating the all you can eat buffets lol.
I wasn't about to let anything stop me from taking this trip and now that it's over we have some great experiences and memories to share.
The first part of this vlog shows our trip to the private island owned by Royal Caribbean, Cocoa Cay. The pictures more or less are our first day at sea as well as the island Cocoa Cat.

Birthday OOTN: MockTurtle Neck Crop Top + Maxi Skirt

Hi loves! this is the outfit that I wore last night out to my birthday dinner. I was inspired by a crop top that I saw Jennifer Lopez in last month on Wendy Williams. This one is a bit different because its fitted, has a mock turtle neck, and is long sleeved. Like most February 27th's it was raining and cold so we took some photos in the hotel room for once.

City Life: A Birthday Trip for the Family Nassau, Bahamas

So this was the second leg of our trip which consisted of a trip to Paradise Island and Atlantis. It has literally been over 8 years since I visited Atlantis, so I was happy to see all the changes that have been made. I had a huge interest in walking around downtown Nassau since that are looks like it has changed the most in the last 8 years. I didn't get a chance to walk around downtown as much as I would have liked, but nevertheless it was great.
We are back in Florida now and the last part of my birthday week vacation consisted of us visiting Orlando. To my chagrin it's been about three years since we came to Orlando because we had Bern visisting Sarasota, so a lot has changed here too. So that's it, here's to the next trip where ever that may be!
*I will be putting up a gluten free food review for Royal Caribbean within the next week.

Cream of Nature Butter-licious Twistout with Camilla Marie Flaxseed Gel (Tutorial + Written Review)

Hi loves! As I wanted to do, I did the Cream of Nature Butter-licious curls twistout with the Carmella Marie My Gel (Flaxseed) for hold. I loved the way the twistout turned out. Cream of Nature boasts that their cream will elongate your curls for more definition and less shrinkage. I immediatly noticed this when I twisted my wet hair the first night. While on board the ship it was windy and there was a lot of moisture in the air. My hair retained its length and definition, but got bigger and bigger. That is a combo that I have never experienced before.
Overall, I do really like both products. I was not happy to see that the butter-licious cream contained Dimethicone. I have noticed that Cream of Nature uses this particular sillicone a lot in their natural hair products. Dimethicone is usually added to give more slip to the hair as you are styling. I did not notice that this product had more slip, but it did give my hair the distinct feeling that it was coated with something (basical…
