Date Night: The Arts Club Tampa Edition -Locals Night & Why You Should Check It Out

I have worn several variations of this outfit. Its not recent, but it is from JLUXLABEL

THE ARTS CLUB
TAMPA EDITION

So today's post is about locals Night at the Arts Club. Hubs and I have a handful of restaurants we frequent monthly and this is one of them. Ironically tonight is the first time we actually ate here. The Arts Club just started serving dinner within the last six months. It is a mixed use space which includes a very nice bar, the red room (which is where we usually are) and then you have this other side which is dark and sexy. It's very very dark in there and it's luxurious. There are tables as well as large oversized couches with furry throws. The idea is just to utilize the bar and sit back and relax in luxury.

So, I actually don't think many people know they serve food now and so I held out on going for dinner because they have a small Asian inspired menu with what appears to be limited gluten-free options. On the night we attended I did in fact discover nothing was gluten-free on the menu except the papaya salad. That sucked for me because I was in fact starving. So, I reluctantly had the salad.

Now I must say, the food looks and tastes amazing according to my husband. Why you should check it out? Thursday nights are "locals night" which means the whole menu (not including drinks) is 50% off. So, the commitment is pretty low.

Below is everything my husband had. The last two photos are terrible because our waitress dec ided to come mix the food up while I was taking a photo of it with no warning.

LOBBY BAR
TAMPA EDITION

Now because I was unable to eat a full meal after dinner we went down to the lobby bar which also has food. Just like upstairs the lobby bar is also very very nice. They have great service and complimentary olives and nuts.

I was in luck tonight because they had gluten-free bread and they made me this amazing Cuban Panini . It's like a Cuban sandwich, but I believe it's got sweet pickles or a sweet ham. I am not sure, but something in it was sweet and it had a stone ground mustard which obviously is also not in a traditional Cuban.

This was an incredible sandwich and it was only 18$. I believe it came with fries, but the fries were not gluten-free.

This is how it looked without the flash from my camera, it was not that easy to photograph as it was pretty dark in there and the panini was pretty flat. They really went in on the butter and got the bread to a crispy buttery perfection!
