We came in opening day and we had a five star experience. I was looking to try new foods and new things and I got that in my visit. I must say the staff was so wonderful on opening night and I hope it remains that way. Our waiter Miko was great explaining the menu and the other people at the bar were so helpful as well with drink recommendations and service. I have been to ROCCA many times and also Streetlight Tacos and I was so excited for this place to open in my area (even though I don't know much about French food).
The charcuterie was probably the best I have ever had (taste wise, variety, and presentation ) and they have gluten-free toast points for it as well as the Escargot. We tried a lot of menu items and loved everything we tried We had the raw oysters as well and they were a bit over priced market wise, but still great. The Escargot comes two different ways and we had it with garlic and butter and it was nice and I hope to tty the second way the next time I visit.
I had the Niçoisce salad for the first time ever and I loved it. We needed a place like this over here in Palma Ceia full stop and I am hoping it is not the last to join this little area which has a lot of potential for development.
Drinks were fabulous as well, I had the French 75 which is my personal favorite. I tried the Rosé and also the cocktail (Cantaloupe Paloma). All of these drinks pack a punch!
The beef tartar was also the best I have ever had and I don't even like steak tartare tto be honest because the idea of raw beef makes my skin crawl, but I do occasionally y partake in it and this by far surpassed my expectations. For opening night it was great; loved everything.
Everything below is gluten free

Nicois salad
Steak Tartare
Note* while this dish is gluten free
I checked which brand of Worsteshire sauce they use and it is Perin's which is gluten free. BUT these beef tallow crisps are GF, the fryer has no cross contamination at the moment, but they do finish them with a malt vinegar dust. If you are a Celiac steer clear of that ingredient . I asked for the chips without the dust and they had no issues bringing me some which are shown below. The ones in the main photo contain the dust.
The best tartare I have had to date, and I am usually not a fan. This one has a complexity of flavors mixed in that make the dish pop. The beef tallow chips (which are fried in a fryer that currently has no gluten containing items being used in it) just melt in your mouth along with the flavors of the tartare. I was so glad I ordered this as well as the niçoise salad, which I had for the first time tonight.
So good!
