NYE Aircation: Food Tour Stop 3; Sushi Izuki | Saul Jumper SEZANE Sézane

Now this is a New Years post that I still need to finish. My New Years trip was super rushed and the weather was crazy so I am missing the photos for this. I will add them when I get them done.

It was important for me to post this because this date was one that was truly magical and important especially for the start of the New Year!!!

In between the rain and the sun going down at about 5:30pm there is just so little time for a lot and its been so cold! I am truly not the best with styling Winter clothes becauae Winter in Florida can be "touch and go". It will be sunny out and look inviting and then you know it was a trick becauae its windy so it feels 10 dwgrees lower. Or in my case, it either rains or the sun goes down and the temperature drops 5 to 8 degrees and now I am under dressed.

So yea, my New Years look was on the skimpy side for Winter, but I will post it soon.

3.Sushi Izuki

Sushi Izuki has just opened over in the Dr Phillips areas and I have just been so obsessed over this restaurant so I had to go there for their omakase. Now, what I didn't know is that their omakase is all they have. So yea it's 17 courses, but fairly priced at 150.00$. But 17 courses is a lot for me (I really struggle to eat that many courses in one sitting).

This was a great expwrience from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was beyond nice, like way more accommodating than he even had to be which is another reaaon I wanted to make sure I got this post up this month as planned.

So, Sushi Izuki has the Chef's Counter seating and then they have these little rooms (I have to look up the exact word they use for them so you know if you want to book it). So, we had our reservation in the little room and it is basically the exact same as doing the omakase at the counter, but this is more intimate and kind of chic in my opinion. Your waiter brings you the courses as rhey are prepared and yes, they had no problems accounting for me having Celiac disease (one of the reasons I am always in Orlando vrs Tampa for omakase).

So, these first two photos are just the starters. Already the starters are great. It's easy to present omakase, but I guess for me, after going to 20 or more of these items becomes more of the same because some places will do like a basic omakase with nothing different or inventive or special.  So for me personally, I look for what is unique now and so far, it's looking unique.
