Executive Chef Andrew Huang did a fantastic job on today's omakase experience. I got to try some new things that I have always wondered, how does that taste? Like the baby eel noodles.
I also got to try a pretty interesting looking shrimp and I still avoided eating the fried river crab.
This is the 20+ course #omakase today for #mothersday at Kōsen Tampa.
Kōsen has earned and retained their Michelin star for a second year in a row. I highly enjoyed the wide variety that was offered and this is my 16th Japanese omakase experience by my count and this one has had the most variety and courses than all of them.
I was absolutely stuffed by the time course 12 was coming around and slowing down! It was an enjoyable experience and I got a photo with the Chef! I enjoyed the very intimate space accentuated by the beautiful Bonsai tree in the center of the room; everything was very aesthetic.
