Laid Back & Cozy Tuesdays | New Hairstyle + Simple LOTD | Cozy Sweetgreen Dinner

Hi loves! So, its been a very hectic month for me and it has been full of exciting things. I spent today washing, detangling and styling my hair which is waist length. Its been three weeks since I had a chance to wash my hair and although I detangle it evwrytime I wash it, because it isnso long it has to be done every time or I get what I had to deal with today.

I need a break: So, my hair hardly sheds during Fall and Winter and it grows a lot. So, as a result, it gets super thick which is what I am dealing with right now. My hair is already thick so I guess if I had to describe it during these months it is twice as thick. Now, when January/February comes around usually the shed hair starts coming out from that phase when your hair doesn't really shed.

I have been traveling and the weather changes had my hair doing some wild stuff. Going from limp but defined Curls to super thick and dense frizzy in a few weeks. I was doing all I could to basically stop my hair from frying in the sun (which I avoided successfully).

As we are entering the most hectic time of the year and the last few weeks of the month I just need a hair break because all this detangling only for it to tangle again is doing to much! It has me wondering if I should buy one of those heatless blow dryers!

So I came up with this cute style which is just bantu knots with some braids and I got it in such a way that I hope it lasts through to January 1st.

So, that took about 3 hours of my day and then I threw on something very fast to go to Sweetgreen and get dinner. I haven't been back long enough to even begin to feel the holiday spirit so posing in front of the tree (in 80 degree weather) was nice. Crop tops in December lol.

I literally couldn't get a decent salad for weeks so as soon as I got back I went to Sweetgreen.  Man, I have changed because it used to be as soon as I got back to Tampa I was getting La Terasita's puerco asada and rice and beans. Then it was Psomi and still is (I already hit them up), but I had to get a salad first day my feet touched down back in Tampa.

So, tonight is a laid back and cozy post and I am going to share with you my holiday season order while I try to decorate my tree at home.

This is like a salad I put together. It was really slapping and I am wondering if it's because I spent the last few weeks eating some food items that really was not what I wanted or what I was used to.

This is what I put together and it was just perfect for me tonight.

Hubs let me choose his salad tonight surprisingly, he just said he wanted chicken and no kale so that was easy. He can have gluten so I chose this salad because he rarely tries new things at Sweetgreen.  It is not gluten-free.
